KVM for Factory Automation needs USB upstream device to attach PC in order to manage PC through Ethernet LAN. The BE-601R85 allows you to send keyboard and/or mouse data to a PC emulating HID using an RS-485 interface. The mouse emulation supports Relative and Absolute coordinates.

• Autoexec Strings – The BE-601R85 can detect when a PC has “booted” and send an initialization string to the computer.
• Power-up Strings – The BE-601R85 can detect when a power cycling has occurred, and initialize itself to the proper mode.
• Re-map ASCII characters – Re-map ASCII characters coming from the serial port. This can ease the job of integrating a serial device onto the keyboard port.
• Disable commands – This allows protection against data accidentally being recognized as commands.
