USB over UTP lets you locate your USB device or hub up to 60m (198 ft) from you computer, overcoming the typical USB cable limitation. It conditions the USB signals to communicate up to 60m using low-cost Cat 5/Cat 5e/Cat 6 cable to connect computer peripherals such as: a webcam, printer, hard disk, keyboard or mouse over a longer distance. The extender set includes a transmitter unit, a receiver unit and a power adapter.
The UB-102 is an USB over UTP Extender kit over CAT6 cable. The kit contains the local unit which is a 1-port Transmitter, and the remote unit which can be 1/2/4 port Receiver. The Transmitter and Receiver units are interconnected with CAT6 cable.
