Video wall is a special multi-monitor setup that consists of multiple computer monitors, video projectors, or television sets tiled together contiguously or overlapped in order to form one large screen. Reasons for using a video-wall instead of a single large screen can include the ability to customize tile layouts, greater screen area per unit cost, and greater pixel density per unit cost, due to the economics of manufacturing single screens which are unusual in shape, size, or resolution.

Beacon provides both KVM over IP (AV-952x), and standalone controller VW-815. It accepts multiple input video sources, such as HD, VGA, Composite Video as well as USB disk. One VW-815 unit provides 5 x HD output ports that can support 1x2, 1x3, 1x4 (Landscape and Portrait), 2x1, 3x1, 4x1, 2x2 video-wall configuration. Two VW-815 units can be cascaded for 9 x HD output ports to support 2x3, 3x2, 2x4, 4x2, 3x3 video-wall.

Its versatile bezel compensation ability can accommodate any display bezel width. All the operation and control can be done through IR, Ethernet and RS-232.
